The newest POTC movie (On Stranger Tides) had mermaids in it. Of course, they have changed the ride for every movie that came out. There are rumors that they are adding mermaid audio-animatronics in the classic attraction. The ride will not be opened until Nov. 24th. Do you think that this is true? How do you feel about that?
I personally wish that it won't happen. If this happens, they will just keep adding and adding into it. We all wish that the Davy Jones/Blackbeard smoke screen has to go, but there was nothing there before. If the new mermaids are going to be in the ride, no one will remember what the ride was like without Jack Sparrow. I know, "Disneyland will never be completed", but don't you want the Walt Disney version? I, personally, don't remember what the ride was like without the smoke screen. I look on youtube, and I don't remember the lady coming out of the barrel, it's always Jack. Ido remember the old blackbeard AA in the battle scene. He wore a red cloak and hat. What would it be like, if the POTC movies never existed?
How would you feel if the mermaids are in the attraction? (Probably the battle scene)

Tom Sawyer's Island Suggestions
Tom Sawyer's Island has been the jungle gym for kids for over 50 years, but it has been run down a bit since then.
Fort Wilderness was a fort where kids could shoot guns and go in the secret tunnel to the river. Andrew Jackson would be in his office as you were in the War of 1812. The place was made entirely made of wood, so the war ended when the termites had their victory. It has been boarded up ever since and now it's a wardrobe area for "Fantasmic!" You can try and look inbetween cracks at the door, but you usually see a white tarp. It is currently a bathroom also. If they did something about the wood, would you like Fort Wilderness to be back?
You can't access into the old burning cabin when you're on the island, but you can always see it as you're sailing on the Mark Twain Riverboat or the Columbia. It used to burn from it's roof and windows with a guy in the front laying down with an arrow in his body. If you keep a Disneyland map in your home, it is burning on Tom Sawyer's Island. The pipes were not working and it was shut down. Now it is a cabin with a horse and tree in the front. It's the only thing that does not have to deal with pirates. Would you like the burning cabin to burn again?
The Mike Fink keel boats were a great attraction on the Rivers of America. Although it didn't look like the ones from the movie, the Gullywhumper and the Bertha Mae were fun to be on. Unfortunately, the Gullywhumper went belly up on May 17, 1997. People were injured, but they never used the keel boats again. The Gullywhumper sits on the Rivers of America as a prop, but it looks totally different. If they made it safety approved or something, would you want the keel boats back?
All of these yesterland attractions may have meant a lot to you in the past, but just on opinion, which ones would you want to bring back? Try and make a facebook page about it or something, I don't have a facebook, but you can help out! I want to see them open the doors to Fort Wilderness, I want to see flames in the burning cabin, and I want to see the keel boats going around the island. Bring back the old Tom Sawyer's Island! The way everyone remembered it!

Disney Gallery or Disney Suite?
I have thought about the building above Pirates of the Caribbean lately. It has been the Disney Gallery for many years. People have walked through seeing many arts of Walt. Now, it is the Disney Suite. It is only open to the family that is happy and Disney-loving. I wish I can be in there, but now we can't. It has the best view of "Fantasmic!" Would you rather
A) Walk-through the Disney Gallery and the Walt's art pieces
B) Never have the chance to live in a suite that is closed to everyone

Welcome!
Welcome to the world-famous DizDork Cruise! We will be able to tour around Disneyland. Here, we talk about all of the facts that we know about the happiest place on Earth! All of you Disney dorks are welcomed here. Please feel free to ask questions and leave comments. Right now, I am concerned about Adventureland. Don't you think it is too small? (walkway size). I think they should expand it and move all of the stroller parking. The jungle cruise and the tiki room have to stay! They are classic and priceless to replace. Don't you want the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse back? Tarzan is not that big of a hit, but it does fit the theme. Instead of an Aladdin theater, they should do Jungle Book. The tree can be Rafiki's tree in Lion King. What do you guys think? Questions, concerns, comments?
I am also available on http://micechat.com/ also called DizDork on there. Thanks for reading my first post!
